PAY RATES

£22,237

Trainee firefighter attending basic training course – currently
£22,237 per annum

£23,162

Firefighter in development period – currently £23,162 per annum

£29,638

Firefighter with full competence - currently £29,638 per annum

Pay scales are correct as at 1 December 2016 and are reviewed annually.

UNIFORM

All firefighters are issued with a uniform and kit before initial training commences.

Training and personal development opportunities, including a Level 3 NVQ Diploma (Emergency Fire Services Operations in the Community), an LGV licence, First Aid qualification and health and safety training
