Stage 1 | Online task-based psychometric assessment | Commences from 2nd February – 22nd February 2026

The first stage of the process is an online task-based psychometric assessment. This assessment consists of a series of interactive tasks designed to measure your unique behaviours and give us insight into your potential to succeed in the role. The assessment can be completed on desktop, mobile, or tablet. There are no right or wrong answers, so we encourage you to approach the tasks in a way that feels most natural to you.

Stage 2 | Ability Tests (Numerical and Verbal Reasoning) |
Commences from Monday 23rd February – Sunday 8th March 2026
Each ability test will be timed per question. All questions will have a list of potential answers to choose from, one of which will be the correct answer. The length of each test is between 15-20 minutes long.

Stage 3 | Application Form | Commences from Monday 9th March – Sunday 22nd March 2026
Once you have passed the fitness test, you will be invited to complete an online application form and eligibility questions. Applications will be scored and successful candidates will be sent a link to proceed to the ability tests. Applications will be scored and successful candidates will proceed to the next stage
Stage 4 | Practical Physical Selection Testing | Commences from Monday 20th April – Friday 1st May 2026
Watch the physical tests and sample exercises in preparation to the testing. Your performance will be evaluated throughout the day, and those who meet the required standard will progress to the interview and assessment stages.
Stage 5 | Assessment Centre and Interview | Commences from Tuesday 5th May – Friday 8th May and Monday 18th May – Friday 22nd May 2026
The Assessment Centre will consist of a range of behavioural-style interview questions, role play scenarios and a teamwork task. Your performance will be evaluated across every part of the day.
Stage 6 | Medical and HR Checks | Week Commencing 25th May 2026
Medical checks, Baseline Security checks, References, Basic Disclosure and Barring Service check and Driving License check. Uniform and kit issued.
Stage 7 | Recruits commence 16 week training course | Monday 24th August 2026
This will be held at our new HQ training facility in Birkenshaw.
