Awareness Sessions

Register now to attend one of our sessions at fire service HQ to find out more about what it takes to become a firefighter with us.

Please note - these sessions are only open to female and ethnic minority candidates.

During this session you will have the opportunity to experience the physical tests you will be required to pass during the firefighter recruitment process. We do this in line with our Public Sector Equality Duty, and the Equality Act 2010. This allows us to support and encourage people who are underrepresented in our service to help overcome disadvantages they may face in the recruitment process.

All sessions will take place at fire service HQ in Birkenshaw, BD11 2DY.
